Wetland Ecology
The wetland ecology division supports programs investigating human induced environmental stressors in freshwater wetlands and estuaries in Central and North America. Current efforts characterize and monitor: environmental contaminant loads; toxicity potential toward ecological and human health; and wildlife diseases (e.g. avian influenza).
